Let me elaborate starting with local warming.....I promise the two might not have any direct relation but you will know why I thought of both... By local warming I mean the weather that is getting warmer by the day as spring is setting in and welcoming Summer at an annoyingly rapid rate. For those who dont know..I am in Boston, Massachusetts. So its natural for people to feel I would belong to the majority of Indian population here in US who curse and abuse their heads off as soon as its snowing and keep ranting about the cold right from october to April...and I just feel like saying "Get used to it fplks....your non stop complaining will change nothing"...But then I feel I am just being too rude and oversmart trying to give them advice, when americans born on this very land do the same thing tirelessly, especially in some places where it is cold round the year. They are stuck to their TV screens in the morning...every house in this part of the world tuned in to weather news. They rejoice at the dawn of every warm day with temperatures anywhere above 70 and if the Sun shines on thier head, I am sure half the lot would want to do a little tango in the middle of the freeway...Out come the convertibles and the bikes and the stylish Sunglasses. I on the other hand loveeeeee the cold, freezing, biting winter. I am just that way....And that is one of the biggest reasons I adjusted to this place so well. I was in the mid west where the weather is far worse for human survival than the North east and I never complained...But I guess I am the odd one out...I am the nut....I am the Krazzzzzy one....but I miss my winter mornings dearly....
This post is dedicated to my best mate who would be ready to drop anything at hand if given a free ticket and a stable job on hand in Texas or Arizona?...not sure about arizona...cuz he can annoy me to my wits end about Texas and his love for that state.....So when I tell him...I am feeling hot & sticky and the Sun is staring right in my face and daring me to make that call to him and tell him for the Nth time...that I hate to know I wont see the snow again for a few months...he can kill me...if I weren't I. We are such close friends but our choices have been poles apart in every aspect of life.....and sometimes just to irritate me and a few of us...he passes a dumb comment like I wish "Global Warming" would increase so that it quits being so cold in this hemisphere and I am like "STUNNED"..What is he talking about dude!!!
I just thought of his dim witted comment this morning while reading my daily doze of news from around the world and my favourite wikihows for the day :)
Go through this link ...I am going to try and take all of these seriously starting today(I can't yet afford a Hybrid car...but some day I promise).....I hope you guys can do the same.....Help reduce Global warming and save this beautiful world for the coming generations to live in.....

Is Global Warming for Real ? Or is it some myth that the media has cooked up for us like so many other tales ... after the terrible winter that was Oct 2007 through 2008 I have my doubts on global warming phenomenon ... now please guys dont advice me to check out Al Gore documentary , i dont care if it got an academy award ..

I know whats real ... shoveling your car almost each day for about 3 months .. that is real , witnessing accidents on the freeway due to snow/ice that is real , driving at 10 when usually u drive at 60 is real .. having to wear 5 pieces of clothing to step out is real , witnessing the sun go down at 3 is real ...
This is what i know , what i feel and now what the media. politician has made me believe ... i know everyone would be like but what about the ice caps melting and the water level rising , etc - i don't know what to believe in except what i see and what i feel.
All this said, i do want to make my position clear, i do believe that we are polluting earth , i do believe that we need to take steps to improve our lifestyle , recycle more, conserve energy, use other forms of energy - solar, wind. Every person can help the cause and take small steps towards this ..
But do I believe in global warming - I have my reservations. so i do not claim to be a scientist or a researcher on Environment and am certainly not disproving Global Warming,I just think a lot more development and research is required to prove/ disprove it.
Nika my bestest friend .. all I say is let there be Light and Warm weather for all ... maybe except for the penguins, the polar bear and the Nika's out there ... mere liye to ek hi kafi hia :D

hey neha, u forget that before ur approx.18 months stay in Chicago,u were in Bombay for almost 25years.and the lowest the temperature gets here is 25deg.C and that too, in the so-called winter months.
And if ur best friend would have it,u will probably be spending a very large portion of ur future back here ,in hot,humid bombay.
how,then will we ,neha give you ur cold mornings?
